Struggles through the Economy

I've noticed while working on the decorations for an upcoming party for my youngest sister that people are having a tendency to really resist things more than usual. For instance, my mother has been going back and forth with what she wants or doesn't want for the party. One minute she wants everything and every detail thought of, and the next minute she's "scaling back".

Vendors on the other hand are much better at following-up with their potential business. I must have received thousands of calls from vendors who were interested in being hired for the event...just from signing up at one website: www.eventective.com and then after actually speaking with them further, a matter of two days would go by and they were calling to follow up to see if a decision had been made.

These days everyone is desperately looking for more money and those that have it are desperately holding onto it. It's so strange with this day and age, how quickly we can go right back to the 1930's depression!
