Tis the season to be decorating! There are so many people spending less this holiday season due to the economy...and with that more and more people are trying spend more time at home instead of going out. With this they are also looking to make wiser purchases that will last longer in the household rather than going out to eat or even going to the movies.

This year take a look at what you have around the house and see what you can use for decor for the holidays. Many of us have left-over vases that can be filled with simple elements that we already have around, such as christmas tree decorations and a few pieces of greenery from the trees in your yard.

Small purchases such as those wonderful cinnamon pinecones are great throughout the house and can be placed into any kind of container. An elegant glass bowl or extra basket can be decorated with some ribbon you may have lying around, some greenery from your own trees and the cinnamon pinecones are a beautiful touch! Add that pillar candle that never gets used for a classy holiday centerpiece!
