Flowers Uncut - TLC

So, I was originally pretty excited at the fact that TLC finally had a floral show. However, after seeing several episodes, I am finding myself bored with the show. The problem is that they only have one designer on there (Jeff Leatham). Although he is a talented individual, the show lacks creativity and diversity. By only having one designer, viewers never get to see other ideas/inspirations, viewers only get to see one technique/design used in many different venues. In addition to only seeing one design redone several times, we also only ever see the "disasters" that seem to happen due to poor planning. Which I know in fact is not always the case as sometimes a florists vision is one way but reality turns out to be something different. But, the show only shows the panic moments and things not going correctly. Is this for the "dramatic appeal"? If so, I don't think that's really enough of an appeal to attract people to the show.

I don't know, maybe I just expect more when there is a "world renowned" artist. Maybe there really isn't that much you can do in the larger area venues such as the George V and Tiffany & Co. I know having to decorate large areas with flowers gets VERY costly, so I'm sure in order to make an impact you have to decorate a certain way, but I still think there are some things he could do to "change it up".

I did, however, like what he did with the orchids at the Tiffany & Co. event.
